Everything you need to know for Float Fest Seattle 2026

Is the event really free?

Absolutely. Float Fest is completely free to attend. Just show up, bring your gear, and enjoy the day.

Who can attend?

This is a family-friendly event! Kids are welcome under adult supervision. Come solo, bring friends, bring family. This is a community event open to all.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. Dogs are welcome, especially if they love the water.

Where exactly I Seattle will the event take place?

Union Lake, in front of Gas Works

What should I bring?

-Your favorite floatation device (paddleboard, kayak, raft, tube, etc.)

-Life vest (safety first!)

-Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses

-Water & snacks

-Good energy & a smile!

Is there a schedule or is it come and go?

It’s come and go. Drop in when you want, stay as long as you like.

Where can I launch on the water?

BEST PLACE TO LAUNCH: Waterway 17 or 18, Lake Washington Rowing Club, Sunnyside Boat Launch, Roanoke St Mini Park, Boulodrome Park, Lynn St Mini Park.

PLEASE NOTE: NO ENTRANCE AT GAS WORKS!

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DROP IN AT GAS WORKS PARK!
